Note / Please note:

All DisplayPort (DP) to HDMI cables and/or passive adapters are generally monodirectional. This means that they only work in the direction from DP to HDMI (monitor).
The technical background to this is that the DisplayPort interface can output an HDMI signal, while no DisplayPort signal is available at an HDMI port.
Conversion in the opposite direction is only possible with an active converter (signal converter).
