Cat.7 network installation cable, PiMF, 500m 100Ohm, 10GB, AWG 23, 1000 MHz, FRNC-B, orange
Cat.7 network installation cable, PiMF, 500m 100Ohm, 10GB, AWG 23, 1000 MHz, FRNC-B, orange
INFRALAN® network installation cable Cat.7, 1000 MHz, 10Gbit
S/FTP 4 x 2 x AWG 23/1 PiMF, FRNC-B, 100 Ohm
The INFRALAN® data cable 99980.x is designed for transmissions up to 1000 MHz and its electrical transmission properties exceed the requirements of category 6, 6A, 7. Channel class E, EA, F and FA cabling routes according to ISO/IEC 11801 (AMD 2:2009) or EN 50173-1 (2009) are set up with this cable. The individual stranded pairs are protected with a shielding foil (PiMF) and an overall braided shield against radiation into the cable, likewise this excellent protection prevents the radiation of signals out of the cable. This shielding guarantees compliance with the interference emission class B EN 55022, as well as the interference immunity according to EN 55024. The stranding of the individual pairs is optimized in such a way that the delay difference between the pairs (skew) is minimal with the greatest possible decoupling (crosstalk). With this cable, transmissions of 10 GBit according to IEEE 802.3 are possible without any problems.
Properties
- Conductor: copper wire, bare Ø 0.56mm (AWG23)
- Insulation: foam-skin polyethylene, Ø 1.35mm

- Stranding to core: 4 pairs (PiMF)
- Overall shielding: tinned copper braid (approx. 35% coverage)
- Color: orange
- Length: 500m
DIN EN 50173 defines the bending radii for Cu-cables:
- Smallest bending radius during installation: 8 times cable diameter.
- Smallest bending radius after installation (only once): 4 times the cable diameter.
The product standard DIN VDE 0298 Part 3 specifies the permissible bending radii for electrical cables as a function of the cable diameter Ø:
For multi-core lines of plastic-insulated cables:
- 4 x Ø
For flexible cables with free movement:
- Ø = 8 to 12mm: 4 x Ø
- Ø = 12 to 20mm: 5 x Ø
For flexible cables with fixed installation:
- Ø = 8 to 12mm: 3 x Ø
- Ø = 12 to 20mm: 4 x Ø
If bending radii are not maintained during cable laying, material stretching and compression will result in changes in the mechanical structure of the cables, with the consequence that the electrical properties will be impaired.
